As we approach the end of January, Christmas and New Year will be but a distant memory. So what better way to be re-acquainted with your tennis racquet, than the club’s annual "Icicle" event? Please come along, break the ice (maybe literally!) and join in our first event of 2010. New members are particularly welcome to enter.

The tournament format will be ‘American’ Mixed Doubles (where you play with a different partner each game) therefore whether you are of an Improver, Intermediate or Advanced playing standard you are welcome to participate.

Food and mulled wine will be available from 12.30pm onwards.

This event is open to adult members.The entry fee is £5 for Full-time Adults and Adult Students, £8 for Off-peak members and £4 for non-playing members who just want to sample the refreshments.

Deadline for entries is Friday 22nd January.
